This is our second experiment to Makeboomboxes with quartersawn hardwood walls — this time reclaimed from a submerged Sycamore trunk by ARC Wood & Timbers and dimensioned by furniture maker maestro Jesse Aney. Needed this hands on creative inquiry leading up to boombox camp (seats still open for July 24-26 build together with me on Zoom or at Oakland Circuit Launch). Oh and added inlay strips at the seams between the solid Sycamore sides and Mahogany veneer corner curve walls — how does that look to your eyes
